Suraj is a passionate young architect, aiming to develop his own design language independent of materials, structure and design typologies. He believes that a good design must respond the context well and every good designer must have a strong sense of structures.
His interest in Design Theory has led him to research in various fields like Affordable Construction Practices in Eastern Vidarbha, Tiny Houses and Urban Spaces during his under-graduate program. He did his architectural training at Design Workshop Architects, Lonavala. He has volunteered and studied works of various organisations including Centre of Science for Villages, Wardha and Sacred Groves, Auroville.
Apart from design and architecture, his interest lies in literature, philosophy, writing, photography and carving.
